The original is a techno track or the old style of trance which was comprised of techno and acid. Take your pick, but either way when you said techno I immediately thought of this track:

actually, the emanuel top track and the track this thread is about is two different things. the former is a good acidtechnotrance classic with the jim morrison vocal sample, the latter is a cheesy hardtrancer mostly known for it's intro dialogue and it's bizarrely bad singing on it.
