Please help (BT)

Please help me bring her home. It's been over 3 weeks since we've heard anything from or about her except nasty vicious rumors.

Will forward this.

We hope for the best.

I'm sorry about this domestic dispute, but do we really need ANOTHER thread on this?

fug him.. maybe he should stop dj'ing and try to find her?

I would assume that his search would do better if he wasn't playing trance all over the world....

So true, the man has priority issues.

I'm just really tired of reading about it... There's like 4 million (rough estimate) missing people in the world today so what makes him so god damn special... Enough postings about this already for christs sake.... This is a music / event board not a missing childrens blog.

my apologies for being bitter... works got me stressed out today.

Well stop reading the freakin threads/posts!

If you or anyone else that is bitching were to have some sort of dilema, I'm sure you'd all be hoping for some help too!

HAHAHAHAHAAHA - I don't read them - trust me.
I just think that its funny and also stupid that people post these topics on a music board. Do you really think that your going to see this kid or recognize these people at a event or on the street. This kid and that lady could be sitting right next to me and I would have no clue...

no more comments on any of these threads from me..
I'm signing off - time for happy hour!

Posted by donnybrasco on Jan-11-2008 23:56:

Honestly, while I can sympathize with anyone who has a missing loved one, these threads posted here will, in all likelihood, never have ANY affect on this particular case, simply because;

A.) They already know who the perpetrator is. That is MORE than half the battle to finding her right there.

B.) Finding her will be a matter of watching and tracing the mom's bank accounts, credit card usage, phone calls, and contact she may have with family and friends.

So unless the Police think that she's going to turn up at a nightclub on the west-coast anytime soon, with daughter in tow, I'd say the chances of anyone who reads these forums ending up spotting the mom, and turning her in, is about a few million times less than your chance to win the lottery...and not the state lottery, I mean the national "Mega" lottery (i.e., it's almost beyond a doubt NOT going to happen).

These are just feel-good posts consequently, IMHO.

I found it incredibly humourous that the bottom of this ad says "caution is advised", and then you look at her stats.... 5'2 100lbs.

LOL!

They actually put the Maryland police department number on there this time. All the other flyers were saying to contact his manager and/or some promotion company.

Yes. If someone is in need they'll bend petty forum rules in order to get their kid back. Finding a kidnapped family member far supercedes social mores. Emotion > Rules

Posted by DaveT on Jan-13-2008 13:26:

Some of you are cruel you know that? Look at the situation. Have sympathy.

A similar thing almost happened to my brother back in the 90s back in Florida. Him and his wife (now ex-wife) had a huge dispute and when my brother was coming to my parents house with his son in the backseat, he was driven off the ride by his wife's sister and then they took my nephew out the back seat and took off.

What sucked about that situation is other than the whole running off the road thing, them taking the kid turned out to be legal because it was done with the mother's consent, who of course had equal rights to the kid at the time (brothes has full custody now)

It was a scary moment because my brother didn't know what his now ex-wife and her family would do (note: her family was NUTS). Luckily everything got resolved, but damn if they took off with the kid somewhere, I sure as hell would hope that the news about it was spread everywhere, and I wouldn't care where it was. It can only help to get the word around, even if there's a .000001% chance of it actually helping in 99.999999999% of the spots the news is posted in.

^^^I'm just pointing out some simple facts, that's all Dave.

I do have sympathy for his plight...even though as a person, I think he's a bit full of himself. But that's not his daughter's problem. And I wouldn't wish having a missing person on anyone. But to me, it makes sense to fight your battles to help find someone, only were they will be most effective.

So unless she's a serious club-goer, I can't see how posting about the abduction in here is really going to accomplish anything?

Posted by DaveT on Jan-14-2008 04:50:

But us globers go to the store, walk around outside, etc.....you know, we do go to places that aren't clubs.

Posted by omega1n on Jan-16-2008 06:17:

I guess he found her already.
