Sir Edmund Hillary, that is, the guy who climbed Mount Everest.

Announcing the death of the last night, New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark described his passing was a profound loss. She said: "Sir Ed described himself as an average New Zealander with modest abilities. In reality he was a colossus. He was an heroic figure who not only 'knocked off' Everest but lived a life of determination, humility and generosity." |

Ahh. the guy who got higher than nearly anyone here could dream of being 
RIP to someone who pushed boundaries, something we see a lot less of these days.
Would it be horrible to say that I had already thought he had died a long time ago?
Would it be horrible to say that I really hoped this was about Clinton?
