Places to stay

where does anyone stay during WMC? this is my 2nd visit to miami but my 1st to WMC. i been checking hotels, very expensive rates. i am planning to be there for 4 nights. and seems like already a lot of them are totally booked.

any suggestions/past experiences please share. i am thinking of staying at a hostel with my gf and share a room with 6 other people, it's way cheaper. i would like to stay on south beach or parallel to it but not in downtown.

If you want cheap and actually pretty good is the Howard Johnson Hotel...Back in 06 I stayed there one nite and the beahc up that way is much cleaner and prettier to look at...its kinda out the way...but the money you save can go twds cabs 6 nights for $715...thats a great price...plus the shower pressure was really good...

Stay in downtown or even outside downtown. Rent a car to drive to events. It will still be cheaper than staying on the beach. Look into it at least. We have stayed downtown for the last 3 years. We stay a mile from Space and the rates are cheap. We only hit one South Beach party last year anyway. Hostels would be a great option too. IMO save money on hotels you'll never be there anyway unless you're sleeping. Good luck.

indian creek hotel near 27th...thought i may get a little bit quieter of a place bc i did waldorf towers past 3 yrs and that place got way overpriced and crappier each year i stayed bc of local

DAYS INN on 21st and collins. Price is reasonable. and since i will be going to Trance Energy too i will be on a budget

Honestly Im not even sure what were getting yet..a friend of ours hooked us up so ill find out a couple of day before.

i got 5 nights at days inn on collins and i think 21st for about $915. i booked it mad early but im going to be paying a bit more due to interest because the guy at the hotel misinformed me saying i wouldnt have to pay until after i leave which wasnt true once i got my recent credit card bill ,so ill have to add another 200 bucks in interest but hey screw it we in great location on the beach

paying three grand for a week. three bedrooms and a den. get six people and thats five hundred each. and you get five times as much room than a hotel. there are also smaller and cheaper for plans. I heard that its the newest tallest building in miami.
