24 hours place to study
Sometime I would wish somewhere there's a place where I can read or study reasonably at peace outside my home. This is of course when the libraries are closed. And I am not a UofT student so I cannot have access to their 24hrs library. Tim Hortons can be disruptive. Starbucks and the like are only open till 11. Any alternatives? I am a late owl. I'm open for suggestions and bright ideas

UofT Bahen building. You need a student card to get in, but it's not that hard to sneak in (just pretend you left yours inside or something). There's lots of free space there where geeks study 24/7.
i don't know where you live..but when I was at school, we would go to Sunnybrook hospital and study in the cafeteria.
They had a 24 hour second cup in there and between like 1am - 6am there was no one there at all (except for some doctors) and stuff like that.
It was always quiet and no one cared that we were there. Definitely the best place to study for us.
Check to see if there is a decent hospital near your something like that...
U of T - Scarborough Campus....was the best part of University....that place never closes
I visited the Hart House at U of T yesterday. Very cool building with lots of rooms and I think it's open pretty late.
EDIT: ah sorry, Hart House is open from 7:00 AM to Midnight, 365 days a year.

there is a Second Cup that is located in St. Mike's hospital (Queen St. E entrance) and it is open 24 hours. i dont frequent that place often or late at night but i can't imagine it is really busy from midnight to 4am.
this is the only place I can think of at the moment. also it would help if you let us know where about you live.
