Armin Van Buuren Cancelled for NY and DC!!!!

Yes this is true...i couldnt believe it my self. i went to clubglow.com today...and went to the forums and it said "armin cancelled". and then i went to www.arminvanbuuren.com to confrim it. i am pissed of now...cause i had my plans for this weekend

Due to visa problems, our artist ARMIN VAN BUUREN will not be able to perform in the US this Friday at EXIT - NEW YORK or on Saturday at GLOW - Washington. We are very disappointed in and hope that we can make it to you in the future. On May the 26th he will definitely be in New York and we are looking for a new date in June or July for Washington. Ok I'm confused, I jsut called EXIT and the woman told me that she's been told that AVB is still spinning tonight...I dunno who to believe.

Ok after some thinking I think EXIT is lying because they want people to come and waste their money. I was REALLY looking forward to it too. *sigh*

I just found out from Armin van Buuren's manager, David Lewis, that Armin's U.S. gigs this weekend have been cancelled due to personal reasons. For those of you that purchased tickets online through Groove Tickets, please email [email protected] for details. We (Glow, David Lewis & Armin) apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunatley, this happens every once and a while in this business. However, we still anticipate great performances in the upcoming weeks by JUDGE JULES and MAURO PICOTTO. I will announce the June/July lineups this week...you will NOT be dissapointed!! This weekends DJs will be Randy White and myself.

This is so fucked up. I just got home. I left to go see Armin by myself, and after driving for 30 minutes I started thinking about shit (life issues, etc) and I didn't feel up to it anymore, so I turned around. I'm so fucking lucky. I guess for once, you can't blame it on exit.

I can not tell you both how much I appreciate the notice. i was really stretching myself thin on the decision to go, but it was avb...not going to miss. if i had gone and he wasn't spinning...heh. i would have been soooo mad.

I know you guys must be pissed, but you have no clue how pissed I am.
None of you were looking forward to this as much as I was! Throughout the whole week I have been working on a remix of Jose Amnesia-The Eternal. I woke up at 1pm today, uhh since I stay up once in a while. Anyway after waking up I spent the next 8 hours trying to finish up the track, I wanted to give it to AvB so bad cause I knew he would love it. SO..... I finish just in time, but it was rushed I could have done better. AND I find out hes not going on!! Which is horrible cause I worked so hard. I hope you guys dont think of me as some Exit guy, cause I hate Exit. Im just a normal party kid, but I also do that Exit bull shit for some extra cash which doesnt really do anything for me either. ANyhow I'll still let you know the deal with upcoming parties. Its just a shame I found out so late!

Last night really pissed me off too. I was lucky to meet Amdmaxx last night and I still had Drizzt81's number from Avalon so I found out before I paid my hard earned money to Exit. Those people at Exit were jerking everybody off by saying Armin was there. Thanks to Drizz for letting me know last night. I couldn't hear you over the phone but guessed Armin was a no. Hope you had a decent night. I know it was not Exit's fault but at least they could be honest and say Armin was not there. Most of the regular people going there didn't seem to care so they wouldn't have lost much money anyway. I'll just have to wait till the next Armin show. Anybody know about the 5/26 Armin gig?
