dj's playing your track...?

I think we all know that there are some very talented producers here on TA with released tracks.

I'd like to know if any of you have ever been to gig of some of the bigger name dj's & they have quite randomly dropped one of your tunes?.... quite a special moment I'd have thought?!

or..have you ever been to a gig and the dj has known your there so they have dropped one of your tracks?

we can all dream!

havent heard it at a live gig but having your track on a live compilation sounds good when you hear the crowd clapping etc.

They've played our songs on the local night clubs here in Gothenburg a couple of times. It was nice, and it was great to see that the crowd was still dancing

never heared one of my tracks played by a big dj when i have been there, but contacted dave dresden after seeing one of my tunes on a G+D tracklist. he said he wished there were more tracks in that style and they had been playing it loads it was happy for the rest of the day!

Tiesto dropping "One Last Time" on Club Life 009. He even spelled my name right!

I came across a post on Techno.cz that it was also dropped on Moor Music. Was unable to track it though!

dj precision played one of my tracks, i felt that was big as he used to be one of my favorite djs at the time. also m.i.k.e. and above & beyond has played another one of my tracks. john 00 fleming has played my last track (as its released on joof) on his radioshow. never heard anything live myself tho i hope that will happend soon (caus soon im finished with clubbing and i will never hear my tracks out excepts if i play it myself).

It's definitely a really nice feeling. First time I ever heard one of my tracks in a live-set it was in a Misja Helsloot one live at Asta in The Hague; it sounded like it went over really well =)

Gimme some time: I'll be there one day

I was lucky enough to experience it a couple times... it's those moments that keep you coming back. It's like playing a horrible round of golf and sinking a 30 foot chip for birdie on the 18th.

why was it bad until your tune was played?

Posted by Reversed on Jan-19-2008 06:57:

It's never bad! but every so often something great happens and makes you want to keep going. I think that applies to everything in life.
