Beatport.com is one of the most widely used and extensive EDM download sites out there, so there's a good chance you can find it there.

I'm really a bit of a forum troll tbh. I spend WAY too much time in forums of all my different hobbies and likes. This is a relatively new one but I tend to obsess about things in spurts. I also Troll Jeep forums alot. Thanks for welcoming me though!

Pandora
Hey, this Pandora.com thing is pretty cool. Just type in a song name or artist name and it creates a station based off the style of that artist. You can "like" or "dislike" songs to custom tailor the station to your likes. Listening to "Station DJ Tiesto" right now. I like more industrial/crunchy sounding trance/techno/whatever though. Any good recomendations?
wow
So, if I'm getting this right I have to have been in the "Trance Scene" for like 10 years and know everything about it to like it and want to talk to other people about it? Most people try to open others' eyes to things they enjoy, you only seem to be pushing me away from it. GG "Mate"
Okay, this is another indication of a point which exists completely independent of the 'Trance scene' and more to do with mere forum behavior than anything else.
See your last three posts?
There didn't need to be three posts.
Whoa relax buddy we're not all here to serve you, if you're really interested in the music you're gonna have to do most of the work yourself.

Well, I guess what I mean to say is that because I am new to this type of music that its a bit overwhelming. I like the sound of it but there are so many styles/sub-genres and remixes that I'm having a hard time figuring out where to start. It seems that every song has 8 remixes by other people. Are these other people artists as well and just use parts of the original song to make one of their own? Or are they all different versions by the same artist? I hope I seem a bit less offensive and grabby.
Many labels release singles with a few remixes alongside the original track...and many remixes just come later on. All it basically means is that another artist has created a different version of that track (sometimes radically different), often using enough samples of the original so you can still hear remnants of it.
That said, check out Discogs.com, as it's an incredibly useful database consisting of countless artists, tracks, and labels for you to search through. It has plenty of information regarding artists and remix titles that I'm sure you would find useful in making sense of all this.
:D
Thanks, I'll definitely check it out. Sorry again for coming off as abrasive.
