Anyone here been to Berlin?

Has any body here been too berlin and know the biggest/ best clubs in Berlin? What are the names of the spots in Berlin that are pumping out all the minimal?

Been to Berlin...but didn't get a chance to experience any true TECHNO BERLIN clubs...

Would also like to know though as I plan on going back soon!

I strongly suggest that you go to GTA and ask them. They would have the most current information on clubbing in Berlin.

Just make a thread in the GTA section. I speak to them usually always in English, and most of them are fluent in it.

Yep. Partied for 5 days during "Love Week." Can't say techno parties b/c that's what we were there for, although there is a thread on a club/area there that's similar to "Behriegn" which is apparently nuts.

Berghain (upstairs is called Panoramabar)
Their busiest time is around 4:00am - weekend events usually run into the pm of the following day. Loudest sound system in the city. No cameras allowed.

I was in Germany all summer and if you're headed to Deustchland to party your life away then I STRONGLY suggest a trip to Dusseldorf.

It's the hidden gem nightlife capital of Germany

I second the recommendation for Berghain. Upstairs will be minimal, downstairs likely not. I think I heard the hardest techno of my life there! (back in 05)

You might be disappointed if you go expecting to hear minimal, but I would highly recommend checking out Tresor for a good techno club experience!
I was there for the opening weekend last year and it was great... looking forward to going back in May

If you do, stay @ Circus Hostel and set aside a day to do a full day walking tour. Our tour guide had a PhD in German history so it was more than just a walking tour, it was 8+ hours of learning german history and seeing what remains of it right before our eyes. Super cool. I loved Berlin.

Also, i u get the chance, go to Tachele, the Zapata's bar is hot spot in berlin, even if lamentably u won't hear any tekno over there!
