wireless in starbucks and places like that would be great... if it were free. Free wireless in Singapore's Changi Airport and LAX FTW!

agreed
though recently my town started a wifi program so anywhere in the center of town you can get a wifi signal for free, including inside starbucks
they still offer the hotspot thing but the public connection's stronger and faster anyways

haha yeah thank goodness for n00bs who leave their connections unsecured.

Starbucks in Canada charges a rediculous amount for wifi here in Canada. Unsure if all of Canada, but the one in Fairview Mall in TO sucks.

Anyone know how to get around the billing pages when in a Starbucks hotspot, or like the ones you get on a homepage when accessing a hotel's internet?

starbucks everywhere, not just canada
and unfortunately, i looked a while ago and couldn't find any ways around it
doesn't mean there aren't any though

One hack I heard is when groups stay at several rooms, one person buys it, and xfers the cookie over to other friends' computers.
