Things to do in San Diego this weekend? 1/18-1/20

Hello, I'll be out in San Diego this weekend from Friday morning to Sunday evening. We're staying in the Gaslamp area of Downtown and wanted info on good restaurants, bars, clubs, etc. We're on a list at On Broadway for Friday & Sat and Belo as well on Saturday. What night would be better at each? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

There is a ton of great places to eat downtown, all depends what type of food you are in to. On Fiday, our friend and fellow T.A. Victor Dinaire will be spinning at On Broadway, he really brings energy, you will not be disapointed.

Yea, i think we're going to see Victor Dinaire on Friday for sure.
What's good on Saturday? Was thinking about Harry "Choo Choo" Romero at Belo but wanted some other options.

As far as restaurants go, we'd be interested in a good sushi spot, seafood restaurant as well as a good Italian place. Any specific recomendations?

Thanks!

Even though I don't particularly care for Belo, you can't go wrong with Harry Romero.

Thanks for the info on the restaurants. We'll check them out. Going to Belo Saturday for sure.

good choice on Sat. its gonna be nuts at BELO. When I am visting another city I always check out yelp.com to see what places I def. have to hit up while I am there, it has great info.

Other dinner options:

The sushi at On Broadway is pretty good so if you are going there on Friday you should just get dinner there and save you the cover/line.

If money is not a problem check out Aqua al 2. It's expensive but authentic italian.

Ole Madrid has some decent seafood and italian dishes for dinner and turns into a crappy top 40 nightclub at night...

If you're football fans find a place to watch SD play the Patriots on Sunday at noon. East Village Tavern gets full early but I hear that Gaslamp Tavern is easy to find a seat.

sports bars are really off and on in SD. Seau's has a good atmosphere during a chargers game but the food is usually subpar

Another good sushi spot is visions lounge. Their visions roll is bomb!!

Sammy's Wood fired Pizza is also good.

Thanks again for all the great info! Those menu's at both Italian places look great, probably try one of them and will try one of the sushi places as well.

Unfortunately our flight back on Sunday is 4:30 pm but definitely will be watching part of the game someplace then probably have to catch the end at the airport. I'll be routing for the Chargers though for sure!

Can't wait to get out of this cold tomorrow morning!
