Sound absorbers??

Anyone have any? Know where I can get them? Just small panels would be fine. Thanks.

Try these places: guitar center, musician's friend, sam ash

How are you trying to use them exactly? There are different levels of sound absorption panels for different needs.

Just stick towels under the door frame.

My dad is moving into a retirement complex at the end of the month. He's retired and records music/spoken word crap. The new place is a 1 bedroom apartment. He records music and that shiet is loud. It's a really nice community and I don't want him to get kicked out for it having to be too loud. He says his neighbors won't hear but I highly doubt that.

We had a large house before so sound wasn't an issue when he recorded.

I thought someone was snoring too loud.

OK. Go here;

Sound Proofing Products

Depending on how much money he has to spend, there are different products with different levels of sound absorption abilities, as well as aesthetic and price variations.

The "Decorative Fabric Wrapped Panels" look the best, as far as appearance goes. I've seen them before. They're not cheap though, but if appearance is important, I'd go with them.
