What type of music does comfort zone play?

I love the music there, but don't know what to call it exactly. And, where can I download some?

Ummmm

Do you even know which DJs are there?

IS THIS A JOKE? Can somebody please tell me?

Posted by misterpink on Jan-17-2008 04:45:

Ofcourse I can tell you which dj's are there. Dj:tk kicked ass this weekend. The intention of my question was to find out exactly what sub-genre of house music CZ plays. Depending on who I've asked, I get different responses, some of which are wrong, I'm guessing: Jungle, deep house, acid house, electro trance- whatever that is...I thought I'd put it to the TA experts to sort it out. what difference would it make if I didn't know the dj's going there?

Well there is quite a difference between going there and hearing Sydney Blaarrrgh as opposed to being there for Calyx and Teebee. Not every DJ has the same style.

Posted by misterpink on Jan-17-2008 04:56:

I've noticed quite a difference in style, I think dj: tk is the closest I can get to defining the type of sound I like. I know she isn't the only one to produce it, there are lots , sidney blu is another, some of deko ze, the heavier, thumping stuff. Is it all just house, or does that specific sound have its own name?

*slowly backs away from the house discussion*

*runs*

I honestly have no idea. Maybe a house head could help you. I am probably the last person who should talk to you about that kind of music, lol.

Country.

lol, Katie, for fucks sake, obviously it was House. I don't think anybody randomly walked into a Calyx and Teebee set at the Zone.

As for the genres that you listened to, it was most likely House or Tribal House. The specifics I'll leave to others.

Hey asshole, I said that. Maybe you didn't see this:

Stop repeating things that I already said. As for the jungle suggestion, I merely used it to explain that the zone isn't just music of one DJ or one specific type of music. I was trying to get him to be more specific.

Pretty much the full spectrum of house, with an emphasis on progressive, tribal, tech and electro house. House music at the Comfort Zone tends to be played at a higher pitch than normal.

I would say on a typical sunday you will hear the following:

House
Tribal House
Tech-House
Electro House
Progressive House

and with a side of Minimal and straight up Techno.
