Midi controller for plugin

Hey all im looking to get a midi controller to control my plug ins. I want something without any keys (not a keyboard) and i would like a digital display so that i know what i am adjusting. So far im leaning towards the novation remote zero sl. Any other ideas?

The parameter and its current value.

The behringer BCF and BCR are both great controllers.

They don't have the read out but its good value for money.

Just so catalyst knows... it DOES have position/value feedback though, since the rotary controls have the LED ring around em. (BCR)

yeah, but you never know what control you are using.

these types of controllers are good for controlling ONE plugin. if you need to control one synth, bcr-2000 is the way to go, as you will get tonnes of knobs and can make scribble strips. however, if you want to control synths, your DAW mixer and FX plugins all with one unit, the bcr-2000 won't cut it.

Here is one - with a lcd touch screen that supposedly will be configured any way you like.. It's not out yet..

Ya like echo said, its great if you set it up to do one job and remember where everything is/label it. But when you want to swap between multiple jobs it can get confusing.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. Just thought he should be aware of it.

Question though, anyone interface a BCR with Live? Does it work well with Live's 'click a parameter and turn a knob when in midi assign mode' to assign a control?

The new euphonix controllers look really good. I'd love one of those MC Mix controllers! Mac only ATM, but hopefully that will change soon!

And btw, this is not a midi controller! It uses another protocol to controll cubase, pro tools etc - -which is a huge improvement in terms of resolution and speed.
