Animations slowing down.....?

I dont know if anyone here uses anything other then windows\macos. But if anyone here is running any Linux clients.... When you goto respond to a thread, Does your computer crap out? I know you can stop the animations, By right clicking, But I have been doing this for almost 3 months now, nd I am getting kind of sick of doing it EVERYTIME. Can we get some suggestions on how to stop this?
