I'm not an expert on genres, but it sounds like you're making you're trying to make Breaks, although it comes off sounding very 1990s Freestyle.

Most of your stuff sounds like breaks. Lot's of Maestro Fresh Wes samples in there. Also hear a sample of DJ Clue's voice, and Tupac. The last track is the only one I hear with a 'freestyle' sound to it.

Can U Feel The Beat: not a fan of the reverse effect you threw in there. And after that, it starts sounding a bit random. Like you're just chopping the samples up without a clear intent as to why.

It's not Who U R: sounds very old school Rave style, and while it's not necessarily a bad thing, that sound is pretty much dead now. Other than that, it's pretty good.

Soul Sonic Force: sounds a bit too much like a mash-up of samples. And this is the song that I was referring to when I made the "freestyle" comment, lol.

Who Wants War: in general, it made my head hurt.

OK, I think I've listened to enough: Your tunes sound like they lack direction, arrangement. Like a painting, a song needs to be planned out - you need to establish a groove, build to something, break it down, etc. Listen to how professional producers cue the listener that something is going to happen.

I'm nto trying to rip you up man - I rather liked Can U Feel The Beat. But you have a long way to go before it's dance-floor-friendly.

Disclaimer: I may not know wtf I'm talking about. What I said is just my unprofessional opinion about what feelings each tune left on me.

Edit: If you don't really understand what I mean, check this out to see how much planning and fine-tuning a producer puts into just one track.

rofl @ that comment

i know TONS of producers who don't know what genre they fall into, or they finish a track and can't label it as a certain genre

not having a set genre is what creates fresh new sounds instead of following the cookie cutter that everyone else has made...

just my 2c.

your stuff sounds like a cross of garage and old school breaks/electronica, doesn't really have the swing of garage tho

interesting stuff tho, can u feel tha beat sounds really 90's electronica, cool stuff.
