Quivver/John Graham

I have maybe 20-25 sets from 1998 to the present by him and just realized (unless i'm mistaken) NO Essential Mix. How is this?? Not to say it would make his career but, of all the DJ's (impact wise) i would have thought he would have a mix here or there. A personal fave of mine ........any thoughts??

I love his productions, besides Space Manouvres my favorite I think is 'Not Giving Up'. I will have to find some live sets.

he's one of those legends that never sold out and never really blew up like he should have... there's still hope though

His best track under Quivver was easily She Does. Fantastic stuff.

I dunno what year John Graham left Tilt but Tilt did an EM, so I guess that kinda counts.

an awsome live dj. such sophistication in his sound. and really down to earth. he was just like another clubber in the rom, who happened to be playing the tunes. - just how a dj should be.

Brothers And Sisters

and pretty much all his other productions...

I don't find his stuff that interesting, except for Twist + Shout and maybe She Does and Saxy Lady

I liked his stuff in the mid-90s, and his Space Manoeuvres project is pretty good too. I think he showed more potential than he realised though.

The dark dub...or whatever it's called, is way WAY better than the original

I'm with everyone else on that- Part 3 is (in my perspective) the finest thing Graham has ever put out.

As for his mixes, although the only material I have from him is his Transport and Controlled Substance mix comps, I never found anything exceptionally interesting about them. They're both well crafted, but the track selection makes everything dry up and become rather dull after a long enough period of time.

reddies is also a nice tune from him!

Someone needs to do a tribute mix for him, if an Essential Mix isn't in store for 2008...
