Is Thomas Datt the only emotional guy?

I mean commmon I understand this is 21st centuary and people get trapped in the rat race and dont have any mercy for anyone else.. but still what happen to all the emotions and expression of that emotions. Why people dont express their emotions in music anymore?

Just look at the mean, cold tracks we have nowdays.. like 'David Guetta - This world is watching Me' and 'Avb - Noone is watching'...

And what the hell happened to Thomas Datt anyways? Did he switched proffession..? Last I heard was some 2 year old liveset.. it was AMAZING!! He melts my heart.

Maybe, but just maybe you're listening to the wrong music. Get Joey Fehrenbach Mellowdrama and then tell me that people don't make emotional music anymore

They still do, except most accomplished musicians don't do it in such a condensingly obvious way.

There's plenty of artists piling emotion into their music - you can't be looking very hard. Plus you've established Thomas Datt as your benchmark, which is odd. You have to look beyond the mainstream, and to be honest, beyond trance.

Hip pop? pop? I cant think of any other genre that is this honest, this plain and soothing as trance... i love it.. i love the synths... i love piano.. i love melody.. I love blends..

What other genre will I have to shift to, to find more emotions than that expressed in trance?

Kenidel Lopez - Heavens Caliber (Thomas Datt's My Heaven Remix)

Now thats a decent track

bass-d & king mathew - like a dream
the world of vinylgroover - fairytales and angels
q-tex - the power of love (digital boy italian rave mix)
force & styles - shining down

for true happy emotions, happy hardcore is your friend. Plus we'd get rid of you for a while while you asked them why they're always happy. I'll save you some time. Ketamine.
