is your mix divided into 2 parts? i only got the first 46 minutes of it.

anyway i thought first part of your mix was fairly decent. you've got some tiesto traits in your mixing style. not saying that's bad. he's not bad of a dj, but i feel like you cued in one track while the other track is still winding down in the melody which seems to work in some cases.

it always works, all the tracks are mixed in key so the melodies overlap in perfect harmony. i mix in the next track just as the previous track is starting to wind down usually at that point the main phrase of the next track hits, so the mix doesn't lose energy. i learned this mostly by listening to pvd's mixes, this way the mix never loses energy as opposed to waiting till the last phrase to mix in. keeps things interesting and lets you put more tracks in.

...and no, the total runtime is 77:12 mins. try re-downloading it or stream it if you want. you're missing the best part

i see that's your mixing style. you would get along with lexxx really well with that. i try not to rush things as most of the songs i play are not written to be mixed in right away.

you'd be surprised with the shit i you can pull off if you get a little creative, and if you know your phrases and keys. its all bout track structure.

am i abusing the golden smilie? hehe

...i'll give you an example: check out the transition between tracks 8 and 9. track 9 reached a breakdown while the beats from track 8 were still playing and when the main part of 9 hit i eq'd the bass and starting taking down track 8. an obvious increase in energy imo.

after track 5 and on i liked the transition. just wasn't a fan of the first part. i'm not familiar with those tracks. how far back are you going?

early 2000's......safri "duo-played a-live (airscape remix)" is from 2002 i think, as is "ocenlab-clear blue water". tilt-butterfly (quadraphonic remix) is also an amazing classic circa 1998. i love throwing down classics in my sets, reminds me of the way trance used to be. the good 'ol days....
