Gareth is rocking. His podcast is easily my fave radio-show-ish thing going on right now.

All the members of FiveAM are consistantly kicking ass.

Would love to hear an new GTR track with that oldschool progressive trance sound...

Another trance DJ on EM, another mediocre set.

Started off with some decent trancey prog, but building up to full on trance, slips in too many terrible vocal tunes. Sounded rather Andy Moor ish, but lacks Moor's cutting edge sound that blows away people. (I dunno how Moor does it)

Set gets better last 30 mins or so, but by that time, I'm rather frustrated by lack of innovative tracklist. I'll give him credit for not sounding like every other ASOT/TATW DJ, but this EM left me wanting.

Seems trance DJs have hard time coming up with a quality set on EM last few years.

His podcasts fail to impress me every time, it's usually a mix of boring tunes + some good tunes and the mixing isn't really good for most transitions, but as a remixer I don't know anybody better.

I agree with everything said except that there have been some good EM's by trance DJ's in the past couple of years (Askew's come's to mind, brilliant set) and that I'd rather listen to ASOT or TATW if it's all trance. I never liked Gareth as a DJ and never saw the big deal of him as producer. Sorry to piss on everyone else's vibe lol.

Eh. Just my opinion, but I've heard better Askew sets than that EM. Plus that EM didn't really sound like hard banging sets that Askew seems to play live. Just didn't 'feel' like it was an Askew set from the beginning.

I've learned over last few years to not judge a trance DJ by their EMs. (excepting live set EMs) For some reason trance DJs seem to put out a different style set for EM than their live sets.

I'd go see Emery, but only if he's part of a big event with other names.

Another good trance producer that's dropped off the radar for a long time. (minus he does bad vocal trance sometimes)
