The Ingrown toenail thread

So yeah last night i had an ingrown toenail ripped out of my big toe and it hurt like hell, my toe is now 3x its normal size... but at least it aint ingrown anymore. Anyone else experience this wonderful procedure?

Used to get 'em all the time. I would take care of 'em myself by cutting the toe nail partially and then physically gripping it with my fingers tear it out of the side of the toe. Sounds disgusting, but the relief from pain/puss/infection is orgasmic.

^ouch... yeah, thats basically what our PA did - she stabbed a hemostat to the rear of the nailbed and then... RRRRRRIIIIPPPPP!!!

LOL the worst part was, when she stuck the hemostat under the toenail, a HUGE pus-shot sprayed out... my foot foot jizzed

Even with it being numbed it still hurt, hell numbing it was the worst part, she shoved the needle all te way through my toe like 4 times... ow.

Shitty thing is now I can't go on missions - good luck getting a bott on till it stops swelling, pluys all the weight of my ammo and body armor can't be good for it either... so now i am bored as FUCK i wanna shoot something...

happened to me 3 times. taking two needles in the finer to numb it isn't as comfortable as one might expect. Also i have learned that it isn't very smart to go to a party one day after the stitches come out, especially if there will be girls with high heels there as that can mean stitches will need to go in again for another couple of weeks.

Yeah, had to have a small in-office operation at the podiatrist. It hurt so bad that even pressure on my heel would make my big toe throb with pain. They cut away half the nail and killed the root.

It all started when some fat chick was jumping (don't ask me how she managed) at a concert and landed her foot on my left big toe. Got home, took my shoe off, and the bottom half of my sock was soaked in blood. w00t

Ouch... yeah day before yesterday i took off my boot and my sock was stuck to my foot - the whole top of my foot was covered in blood and pus. That sucked... we did a patrol that day so lots of walking around is what did it... i couldnt take it nomore so they ripped it out

I used to get minor ingrowns....not anymore...its all about HOW you clip ur toenails dood...
Clip straight when ur at the end, not downward with the slope of the nail.

i used to get ingrown toenails alot when i was a kid. it is all about the type of shoes you wear; narrow shoes are not for you.

When I was little I was deathly afraid of the nail clipper, so I develloped the ability to trim my toe nails with my finger nails, and over ten years of practice have allowed me to perfect my technique so that I never come close to injuring myself. Never had any problems.

Ingrown Toe Nail; ive had this very problem when i was younger. Shit can be painful especially if someone accidentally steps on your foot with out knowing.

Then your sock gets all bloody; not a good thing. I managed to learn;
