that doesnt listen to trance that much anymore?
I used too a lot, but lately I just listen to DnB.
I also posted here back when I was a TA. Came back because I'm bored and I like the board layout.

No, you're not the only one. There are plenty of NYTAs who started out, like I did, as Armin and PvD whores, but who no longer follow trance as much.

Armin used to be my #1 DJ and absolute favorite. Now I mostly listen to minimal and techno.

I'm doing my best not to become a minimal snob though. I've seen that happen to quite a few people. I like minimal/techno but I don't bash the other genres because all of it can be criticized.

Trance is too formulaic and lacks substance.
Electro is too Kitschy.
Minimal is pretentious; fashion > function.
Techno is too dismal and depressing.
etc, etc..

I take trance in small doses now. It's fun music, but not challenging enough for me to be into like I used to..
