for those non super tech geeks, how would you LOVE to be able to change your keyboard to reflect whatever you want whenever you want? now you can!

haha when i first heard about this keyboard 4 years ago i was like FUCK YES!!!!! a keyboard that can have ANY layout i wanted! at that time i was using the russian keyboard layout a lot.

yea i would love to find a good quality keyboard, with both english and russian letters, since i write a lot of emails to people in russia.

Yea, I kinda wanted one too... when it was announced 3 years ago for a price that was $1200 less that what they're currently shelling them for and didnt have an extremely limited lifespan with replacement keys costing over $10 apiece.

while I do agree it is expensive, its also innovative. it will spawn more products like it and the technology will improve. also another reason it costs so much is cause of the mechanism for key presses. if you listened closely he said it was a mechanical not a membrane keyboard. so there is a lot of hardware in there too.

Oh I realize. I was alluding more to the fact that when it was first announced it was for like $200 bucks... which was still pretty steep, but seemed reasonable since each key was indeed mechanical (not a lame touchscreen or flat keyboard, which we all know is not good for extended typing) and each sported it's own OLED. The kick in the balls came after many delays when they started taking preorders, and jacked up the price to $1500! Keep in mind, the specs didnt really change from inception to release.

Yea, but this one has physical keys. The problem with typing on a flat surface is that it is rough on your fingers after awhile.

yes for $1600 bucks. its something that i would use quite often when i type in german or russian keyboard layouts.
