Wink Your First Ever Favourite Song(s)

What is the first ever song you ever remember just loving / liking a lot as a kid? Your first favourite?

Obviously I'm not talking about electronic music specifically here -- any song, any genre.

Mine:

1. Bangles - Walk Like An Egyptian

2. The Tokens - Lion Sleeps Tonight

Especially Walk Like An Egyptian! WOW! when I first heard it... immediately in love with it... hell I can still recall being just obsessed with it as late as up to near the end of Grade 8 hahah

my parents were still stuck in their disco phase in the early 80s so i grew up listening to Abba, Boney M, Bee Gees etc. but my very first favorite song was Lipps Inc. - Funky Town

Blondie - Heart Of Glass

The first song I can recall being obsessed with was Meatloaf - I'd Do Anything for Love (but I Won't Do That) from his Bat out of Hell II: Back into Hell album. I was equally in love with Heart - If Looks Could Kill.

Michael Jackson - "Beat It"

I remember begging my parents at The Bay to buy me the Thriller Album... Then begged them when all the way home and the rest of the day.

I got the record the next day

That must have been in 83 or 84

Ohhhh good one.

Though the lead singer looks like Hugo Chavez to me

I guess the first 'modern' popular music I got into was Green Day, pretty much the entire Dookie album. I bet I can still sing all of the album off my heart.
Ah Woodstock 94 video. Such amusement.

oh. now I recall I used to like K Pop (well, early forerunners of K pop) before I immigrated

Paul Gross - Ride Forever

Due South first season kicked ass (Camilla Scott is a MILF!)

2nd season blew after they switched the actor who played Vecchio

I think the reruns are still played on Bravo once in a while

lol no.

There's not many noticeable things Paul Gross did (other than that Men in Brooms movie. Movie about curling? WTF)

Due South used to be one of my fav during junior high. And I loved Fraser's character.
