The Moment of Truth Debuts on FOX Tonight

Anyone watching? This will be interesting. It's like who wants to be a millionaire, but by telling the truth and nothing but about yourself and/or issues that may have revolved around you.

I thought it was funny but there were way too many commercials. Also, I thought the first guy was probably telling the truth even though it said his answer was false. He already answered a couple questions before that would have made the answer to this one no big deal. But who knows. Those tests are only about 65% accurate anyway.

I agree with Doombot, polygraph test are never 100%. Things like stress, nervousness, agitation will easily give incorrect readings.

This one just seemed to scripted for me. It's like Deal or No Deal, when you have people that are over the top, so you know they have to be actors or scripted somehow.

As for commercial. I DVR'd the first episode of American Gladiator and it contained; 17 min of commercial, 18 min of interviews, 10 min of back story, and 15 min of action. So we only get an average of 25% of actual action in a 60 min episode.

Give me some more Office or Heroes and I'll be happy.

I don't know about this, personally why should I care what this total stranger on TV has done in his life.

i think it's sick how people sell their dignity for the money..
but then again.. money is power.

USA, a lot of the time seems to me like, it is the biggest democratic "PG Rated" country in the world.

As for the show: very low.

I just want to see people cry on the show

I don't see them asking anything really incriminating. I'm sure it's going to be, as said above, a buncha stupid PG garbage that no one cares about. Put this on HBO and you got a good show

Why do you think lie detectors aren't admissible in court? There are certain people who will consistently set off false readings.

As far as lie detector shows are concerned though, Maury is much better. He gets right down to the dirtiest secrets right off the bat.

i thought it was a great show but definitely too many commercials and way to drawn out on the "true/false" answer...i to agree that polygraphs tests are bullshit but i do think some of those questions were pretty good with the first guys wife sitting right there...i think once some people get past $100k and goin for the 350 or 500k shits gunna get real good..id love to have the opportunity to be on that show.

Next one looks to be pretty good. The guys son comes out and asks him if he gambled away his college fund.

Not funny, but still...
