I'm planning on ordering stuff from them, big stuff, IE: mixer+cdjs, am I going to get ripped off?

Who else that's a reputable online vendor (and can ship to Canada) can match their prices? (Apart from Ebay)

I've had good experiences with them, although I haven't bought the real big ticket items from them. The only "issue" I know of is they lost their Pioneer Authorized Dealer status about a year and a half ago when the current generation cdjs debuted. They supposedly leaked the images/info before Pioneer allowed and paid the price.

I'm just not sure. If it doesn't say they're authorized on pioneerprodj.com, then that's that. I'd check there.

I had a good experience with them but if you need customer service it may be hard to get to someone. I guess they're considered sketchy because they're not backed the manufacturer warranty like someone else mentioned.

I have not bought anything but I have talked to them on several occasions. There prices were VERY compeditive.

They're the best. Bought all my "core" gear from them. I don't know if they ship to Canada though. The taxes would probably kill it but who knows?

+1 - I've had them match stuff dollar for dollar, including eliminating tax and have purchased almost all my gear from them. They tried to talk me into getting a tax exempt status (not sure if that's a TX thing, but just in case...) and I wouldn't have any of that. Don't want Uncle Sam coming after me - when I said no they just took it off the price.

In Texas, and any other state for that matter, if you operate your DJ'ing as business, then you can buy equipment tax exempt.
