I thought I was bored
I've had it for a little over a year and they've already come out with two newer models. It's not the greatest (you can't hear ringtones for fuck all), but it holds up rather well. As an added bonus, it was free and I got a bombdiggityill plan.

Originally posted by idoru That's the bigger brother to my old one, which was also free with my Sprint plan. Mine was a tank and lasted for 2.5 years while I watched all of my friends buy Razrs and other tiny phones that would break after four or five months. I actually just upgraded yesterday because mine was starting to not be able to hold the power cord so it wouldn't charge well. Only $30 after a $50 rebate to get the latest version of the phone... ![]() |

I shit you not.
I've had it since 2003 or 2004... it still works pretty well and all I need a phone for is to make calls. I can't justify spending $300 on something shmancy when I've got something that still operates fine.
EDIT:
And it's built to withstand a fucking war zone. I have dropped this phone a million times, have dropped it in snow/water, left it sitting in the sun for hours, etc.etc. and it still works.
If you did that to 98% of the phones you get now, the phone would already be in the garbage.

Originally posted by Ted Promo There really is almost no reason to get insurance on phones even if they're expensive. The company almost never honours it, and if they do it's always for far less than you actually paid for the phone so you have to downgrade. |
