don't limit yourself to TS. while i've never been out in the city on a weekday, i've heard guest house has some decent parties on wed (not in TS).

There's not many club / lounges around time square that are that amazing. Really, they're just overpriced applebees. If you want some decent places. Check out the village, they have some unique spots to say the least. So does the UES. UWS has more pricey spots. UES tends to be a little more trendy.

Try the Meatpacing District. Tons of great bars, clubs and restaurants there. It's a short cab ride from TS

i would be willing to bet that not too many ppl on this forum go to pink elephant. but those are the types of places that have stuff going on during the weekdays, so it may be worth it. it's def a bottle service type place. i believe it's one of those socialite places where people living off of trust funds blow away their parents money on weekdays because they don't have jobs to go to in the AM.

good to know! we're not looking for anything really extra, extra, extra fancy like that for this week.

right now, i'm googling what you guys have suggested. it's my fault for waiting this long to look and ask for places, lol.

You said you'll be here on Tues? Check out the thread about the quarterlife label launch party at Cielo.

Can't see it being terribly expensive and they're gonna have open bar if you get there early enough Can't go wrong with that. A few of my friends and I are definitely going.

*Edit - Free before midnight, now you REALLY can't go wrong with that, lol

omg dont go to TS!!! All those crazy tourists lol worst freakin place in the city.

If you wanna go where local NY'ers go, go to the Meatpacking District (cielo included). Or go where the colleges are (nyu area: west village, Lower east side, Union square.....these are all places if you are looking for BARS tho....clubs I would def stick with Meatpacking.

house of brews. two locations in and around hell's kitchen. good selection of beers, most for 6 bucks. beer bong (forgot how many ounces) for $40 bucks. it doesn't to get too crowded on saturday nights. i'd go there again.
