Anyone suffering from partying related aches and pains?
Hey, I know this may be a little unconventional.... but I was wondering how many ppl out there have suffered from DRBP (Dancing Related Back Pain)....In my years of partying I've met my fair share of back pain (and other joint pain) sufferers. Jumping to the beat for ridiculously long periods of time does eventually take its toll (especially for girls like me who sometimes make the unfortunate decision of wearing heels to a party) although I'm sure no one is ready to let some aches and pains slow them down. Anyways, I was just curious cuz I'm currently a chiropractic intern who is looking for patients who may be interested in rehab/physio/massage/modality etc treatments at a reduced fee....
Finally after 4 years of grad school do I have time to get my nose out of the books and onto TA, so if anyone can relate to what I'm talking bout, message me...

Back rubs are free from the sketchy kids on the back couches at the club

Aches, yes, in my legs and calves. But I enjoy the muscle soreness that often result from a particularly hard night of dancing at Guv.
It physicall confirms for me that I got in SOLID dancing time, and that bc of that solid dancing time, my body is aching.
They represent a solid night out is how I view them!
Walking up (and down, especially) stairs today is fun, lol. Such a aching experience.
Good night out, what a good night out!

just like that everyday normal guy said in his song that was posted before, after a lifting incident a few years ago my back just hasn't been the same... during this past summer it actually got better since i was used to standing for most of my 42 hour work weeks... but now that i'm back to lazing around the house/campus most of the time i get all sore again on the dance floor
I've suffered from chronic back pain since a track injury many years ago. I am always in pain. This doesn't stop me from dancing hard, yet I suffer quite a bit. Advil is my savior. I've tried the gym, message therapy and chiropractor, yet nothing solves the problem, they just releave some of the pain momentarily. The majority of clubs here in the city have cement or hard floors which makes it even worse. I miss the Sonic dance floor as it was so much easier on my lower back.
if youre out partying long, its important to get a good fill of protein to help your muscles from seizing (hence the pains) and also stretching helps too
hmmmmm I'm starting to think i should operate my practice out of guv.....probably get more business there than anywhere else..
but then again that would put the sketchy couch back-rubbers out of work.....
