I had another fantabulous night @ circa on Friday.....thought acquaviva delivered a very dancible set and the randomland crew put on an entertaining little spectacle.....and to top it all off, the alien headband i caught made it extra worthwhile....

(also enjoyed the lax security in the bathrooms)

This was my first Randomland and I had a great time. The music in the smaller rooms wasnt really my thing but I thought that both Acquaviva + Schumacher ripped it up in the main room!

i came at 1 and schumacher was already done, so I only saw acquaviva. I loved it. Some parts were a little boring but other parts of his set were just fucken amazing. I remember that i actually ided every single track that he played but 1, but was so high that now cant remember too many, lol. The crowd at circa sucks. I dont mind gay, but over there its too gay. Sound 4+/5. I also liked the layout of the club and dj booth, very futuristic look. Overall a sick club but still not as amazing as renovated viva, which is unfuckin real.

I think footwork is a pretty bad venue. The sound there is not very good (not very clean and crisp), the shape is weird and uncomfortable, lights are pretty bad (not horrendous but pretty bad), and it is always packed in the spots where the sound is better. Although i will go there sometimes because the bookings there are sick.

actually it was a sidenote....not a highlight....
and besides sometimes a little extra sumthin' sumthin' only enhances the clubland experience

No. The sound there is not balanced too well there. The lows are not punchy enough and the highs are pretty weak. Thats why the sound is not very nice. But i didn't say it is awful either, but you get to know everything in comparison. My benchmark for sound is viva's new sound system and compared to that footwork's sound just doesn't fly.

yeh, I was trying to think of something to say to this earlier. I still can't...

anyways I woulda liked to see Schumacher more than anything else.
