Saikano (the saddest anime I've ever seen)

I haven't seen so many anime movies so far, but Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi (Spirited Away) is the best I've seen so far. Have seen some other works by Hayao Miyazaki and I've loved them, I still need to find the rest of them and watch them
I love anime very much Got introduced to it by a good friend of mine and have loved it and watched it alot since.
Edit: I forgot two series: Claymore and Saikano and Chobits..

i'm comparatively new to anime, but i've already watched and enjoyed the following anime very much:
- Grave of the Fireflies (Hotaru no Haka) (too sad (sad=touching) to watch a second time)
- I Can Hear The Sea (Umi ga Kikoeru)
- Kiki's Delivery Service (Majo no Takkyubin)
- My Neighbor Totoro (Tonari no Totoro)
- Porco Rosso (Kurenai no buta)
- Spirited Away
- Whisper Of The Heart (Mimi Wo Sumaseba)
- Nausicca from the valley of wind
as you can see, they're all from Ghibli Studio. haven't explored other studios though, but i've seen parts of other anime like Vampire Hunder, Cowboy Beebop

I cant believe nobody mentioned Berserk...
I dont care for any other Anime but this one has my full 100% respect! I ordered the dvd series a couple years back and damm that show was good.

Cowboy Bebop is the best followed by Samurai Champloo. They are proof it doesn't take 100+ episodes to get their point across.
