| The update will improve the Master Tempo performance, improve readability of dirty or scratched discs and improves loop performance. |
Hmm...looks like it addresses the same stuff as last time, and last time I noticed a definite increase in performance in master tempo.
The link isn't working to download the ISO

mine just says error when I put the cd in
v1.90 I dont get it meh...
There's a link to the instructions on that page. Follow them.
So it's supposed to fix the looping? Not on mine it hasn't! Still puts the loop point slightly out... (and no, it's not me being retarded and pressing the button at the wrong time
)
When upgrading the firmware make sure you extract the downloaded file and burn the .hex file to CD.
Upgrade worked fine for me.

still cant download the file
Download the file, use a program like Nero Essentials to burn an ISO. I had the same problem for a long time with my 1000's, finally tried it that way and it worked. It appears they don't download as a zip file, but as the full iso file themselves.
Is it worth it? Especially if I never really use/noticed a bug in the looping feature?

| Originally posted by Stu Cox You can work with it though, you just have to move the outpoint back a frame straight away every time you set a loop... not ideal I know, but still useable |

i have a mac bok im not sure to do all this? can anyone help me out here?
I don't have a Mac, but the burning-to-CD steps should be the same regardless of platform.
In this case, the ISO is a CD image. In your CD writing program, look for an option to burn an image, and select the ISO file that you downloaded. I'm not sure if you have to finalize the disc or not, but might as well, to be on the safe side.
You can always order a upgrade CD from Pioneer, too.
