oh man that was an awesome night of music!
From the moment I walked into the place until I left the Audiofly boys had me moving and grooving. I only really recognized a handful or so tracks and I must say its so nice to go out and get schooled like that.
some spots:
Robbie Rivera - Feel This (some new edit or rmx)
Steve Lawler - Violet (Bushwacka! mix)
Son of Raw - A Black Man In Space
Delete - Flight Schedule (Gregor Tresher mix)
Jens Bond + Guido Schneider - In Order to Dance
Rekleiner - Some People
ps. did anyone stay until the end? when did they finish their set?
i wanted to come pretty bad but didn't have a ride back out west.
I had an awesome time. They stopped at like 2:20 if i remember correctly. 3.50 pints to, the best thing ever, except for my hang over now. All in All though it was great night
had a wiked time
love the venue, more minimal parties should be thrown there (some one should book Luciano there!!!)
audiofly defiantly delivered, sux that i had work today so had to leave at 1.30
Amazing party!
It was totaly unexpected. The venue is great.. other then all the traffic through the dancefloor to get to the mens room. It was a great crowd for a thursday night, there was enought people dancing and having a good time on the floor which is great. I love clubs with in and out privalges ... it will be great in the summer time. I realy hope that this club continues to have parties with sick acts like Audiofly... Will definatly go back and also recommand it to all my friends.

Wasn't even supposed to be in the city last night, let alone out at a party....but somehow ended up at this one. Loved the venue...loved the loft feel of the place...definately a perfect venue for a Thursday night minimal party. Tunes were solid from when I got there until the time I left. Jonny White and Nitin were good. Audiofly were super good. From the get go they had a real nice groove going on and it didn't die as the set went on. Much like Karlo....I really didn't recognize much of what they were playing....but the tunes were awesome. Definitely one of the best sets I've heard in a while. These guys rock...and they look like rockstars to boot. They have kind of like a Lawler-esque coolness to them. To me this always makes a difference when seeing a DJ...totally adds to the experience. Awesome night. It's always the unexpected ones that turn out to be the most fun. Or maybe it's Cuzo....seeing Cuzo on completely random nights is starting to look like a omen for fun.

liked the venue, HATED the traffic on the floor, people were walking back forth all night, it killed my buzz a lot, audiofly were pretty good but not amazing, i expected much more from these guys to be honest, left around 1:45 after i got pissed off at the people walking back and forth ALL night, horrible choice to have washrooms beside the dj booth.

the beginning was a bit toooo deep for me, they started to pick up nicely playing some good techy vibes but then we left around 145 because yes the traffic was fucked up too many losers walking around. By the way the sound system fucking sucked there pretty much no low end on the dancefloor which sucked ass.
I wonder how I would have felt about this party had I not hung out around the back where there was no traffic. I wasn't even aware of how shitty it was.
thanks for coming out....
those who were at M.A.N.D.Y. definitely knew how perfect this venue is for this type of music... very berlin shall we say...
anyways, next installment is:
Damian Lazarus on Thursday, March 6 @ The Social. Damian's last date in September at the Social was amazing and this next one will for sure be a complete blowout.
Dirty Bird Party with Claude Von Stroke and Worthy on Saturday, April 26@ ANTI (old Spin Gallery).
more stuff on the way.

p.s. that dirty bird party will be nuts
I went there with high expectations, Audiofly was good but not amazing like geroin said, their set lacked a good steady flow but that changed around 2 from good to great, too bad the party ended shortly after.

That was just fantastic. Musically, I haven't been that impressed in ages.
Got there shortly after midnight to find the place quite busy and energetic. The crowd was mixed, mainly younger and out to dance and just have fun. Seemed like everyone was walking through the dancefloor but they were being polite about it and yes, it was still possible to find a spot to dance.
Loved the momentum of Audiofly's set. Solid, thumpy basslines throughout blended with different elements. The beginning had gorgeous proggy melodic stuff, then warmed to tech house, got hit with a li'l tribal and moved on to what I can only describe as that "Lawler big room" sound. It's been a long time that I've witnessed blending of styles in such a seamless manner.
The guys themselves were having fun, lots of crowd interaction. One of them was also showcasing the latest in dj wear (metallic sequins anyone?). Quite a few people went to shake their hand, take pics with them etc. at the end and the guys seemed genuinely pleased to do so. Things wrapped up by 2:30 and it could have easily gone later based on the crowd hollering for more.
Thanks to Embrace for finally bringing these guys in for a decent length set at a suitable venue!
I was only there for about an hour but I think Audiofly played a really good set. I would have liked to see Johnny White and Nitin play but we didnt get there in time.
The venue is pretty cool but like most ppl already mentioned, the layout isnt that great. I also think the sound was really bad & it was a bit too dark in there imo.
