how long before it becomes airborn?
dinosaurs died out because of a change of environment. we will die out because we got too smart and ended up creating a killer virus we cant stop.
its like a 1980's blockbuster, only in real life.
how long we got until the human race ends?

never happen.
HIV is highly susceptible to oxygen so no, it will never become airborne. We didn't create it either, we inherited a pretty harmless monkey virus which unfortunately wasn't very harmless to us.
HIV isn't really common among humans. I would be more afraid of another spanish flu than some hiv

viruses don't easily mutate. that's just a red herring to freak you out so people watch move tv and go buy themselves gas masks to protect themselves from bird flu.
No one thought the G-Virus would ever go airborne
Agent Smith: I'd like to share a revelation during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You are a plague, and we are the cure.

It won't happen.
You can make a lot of money off of palliative drugs for the ill. You can't make anything off of the dead.
