Hello. It's my first time being back here in a little while so I guess I'll start off by giving my opinion on something.

This track f***ing rocks! I can't give any help on levels or eqing or anything really technical just because I'm listening on some logitech headphones. The elements are all fantastic.

The atmosphere is absolutely awesome. Maybe a little bit too much reverb on some elements, but that kick and bassline are awesome.

I'm not sure about that ending.

Melodically, nothing is happening for me here. Nothing except that hypnotic kick/bass is really sticking with me at the end here. Synth wise, I like all the sounds but that breakdown could use a different melody.

Overall, I rate this track 7/10 due to the awesome percussion, kick, bass and cool synths.

Sounds like the sort of track that Marco V or Sander van Doorn might play. Might I suggest you send it to them?

not yet, but maybe it's good idea
P.S. thanks for feedback

This is a great track.

I love the sense of space with the verb that you have achieved. Really lush sounding.

It sound be the headphones I use at work but I feel like I detect a slight bit of clipping on the bass frequencies. Will test it on my monitors at home later.

Really good job though.

Would like to play this out on Friday if I may?

Cheers
Nem

Great track! I'd say it's one of the best on TA right now. No real complaints except at about 4:40 there is an out-of-place reverb effect that i could do without.

Other than that, I would say this track is top notch. In fact, I might just use it in a set. Nice work.

starts off rather lo-fi sounding, but after the first "wake up call"
with that lovely spacey synth the track evolves in a floorkiller! (0:44)-awesome.
(1:14)-love the melody, simple and rythmic, great hook.
(1:46) pad comes in, creates a nice atmosphere, but nothing more.
(2:--) kick comes back, sounds great, but you've got a lowvolume synth underneath that kinda ruins the lovely simplicity.
(2:55) slightly disto squares add a nice element, but it doesnt really fit the track I think. the same idea as introducing a new melody on the second half of Tiesto's - Traffic.
(4:00) a lot better again .

this is actually one of the few tracks I managed to listen to fully over and over, without skipping parts.

..and

HOW DID YOU DO THAT BASS ?!

Posted by ENZ83 on Feb-06-2008 18:39:

agree on the kick and bass. nice and tight. but the reverb is killing on the melodies.

Gorgeous bass, so much warmth yet the kick still cuts through so well.

Percussion is great. Adds plenty of groove to the track.

Not keen on the synth that comes in at the main breakdown. I don't really like the melody of this synth and it felt as though it didnt compliment the other sounds very well.

The FX you have placed here and there work really well as does the high pad sound looping over.

Overall, I really enjoyed this. The kick, bass and percussive elements in particular were great and you really have a knack of giving each part its own space so that everything stands out.

Good stuff mate!

great nucleuz bass/kick to start.

@0:42 you change the bass synth or add something to it. i dont think you needed to. that intro kick/bass is flawless and if anything, you lower the drive with what you have added/changed at 0;42.

im a fan of the overdone reverb really late night vibe. break is good. reverb is a little dirty and could do with being a little more tones down, or maybe reverb a higher frequency so the mids dont get muddied by the reverb.

overall i really love this sound. you havea fresh approach and originality which is hard to come by in these dark times for music.

i suggest you clean up your reverb and get it that little bit more perfect and get it mastered professionally - it clips slightly. i can imagine this doing well with dj's like preach, marco v, svd, and at a pitched up state it will work the harder dancefloors.

great job

Not exactly my style, but it's a professionally done track. Indeed it reminds of SvD sound. The bass and background sounds are great! The track could be a little longer though.
Overall - good job, you definetely should try to send promos to some big names.
