Markus Review at Mansion (Some Pictures Uploaded)
Hello Everyone:
It's 11:30 on a Sunday morning and, I am in still complete amazement.
I very rarely make it out to club night due to my schedule and travels.
Last night for me is a night to remember. MARKUS SCHULZ is by far one of
the most well RESPECTED, HUMBLE, DEDICATED, TALENTED, FAMILY-ORIENTED,
DJ /Artist I have ever met.
Markus stepped on the decks at about 1:30 and opened with an intro like no other.
From the start of his set full on energy. He delivered bomb after bomb and was engaged
with the crowd the entire time. Markus was dedicated to his audience last night, As it was
a Homecoming for him. I heard him say "These are my people". This is what makes Markus
such a well respected DJ / Artist. He puts forth his maximum effort every show. Markus is
also well grounded due to his surroundings "POSITIVE PEOPLE, BRING POSITIVE VIBES". His
wife Heather is by far one of the most well respected women I know. She is dedicated to
the music and life in general.
This is a night that goes down in history for me.

One of the reason's why Markus is such a great musician is that he takes risks.
Every track he played was remixed rebuilt to his style of choice.

This really was one of his best sets ever and Markus was so animated and having a really good time! It was good meeting Kaenow and Infinitetrance. Danced the whole time Markus was on and have the blisters on my feet to prove it, but what a crazy ass set! Wow! 
Markus needs to get down here way more often.
Also, wanted to add something funny that happened: this guy comes up to me yelled and asked, "If I knew what was going on, that this is Markus Schulz, the Markus Schulz...Marcus Schulz from Germany?" I was laughing so hard to myself because I was only there for Marcus and was dancing my ass off for hours already...I said, "Hell yeah I know who he is and that he rips it proper, and that he was from Miami!" The guy repled, "Yes, but he is originally from Germany!" Then the guy asks, "Sprechen se deutch," which means do you speak German? I said, "No." This kind of cracked me up... I think the guy was part of Marcus' party and there was another hot ass German girl dancing around on the dance floor and up on the stage too.

wow I can't even find the words to describe this night. I was so excited about having markus back in miami that honestly, I was scared that I would end up disappointed because I expected so much of it. But man, did Markus deliver! He exceeded any expectations i could've had...
When we got there, Chicco Secci was on the decks and ugh, it sucked a lot. Longest 2 hours of my life! But from the moment Markus came on the decks, he was on! He just kept banging and banging and banging, it was just insane. Tune after tune and of course, in typical Markus fashion, there was lots of crowd interaction Mansion wasn't crazy, but it was pretty packed, but with plenty of room to dance in the front so it was perfect. Everyone always bitches about the sound at mansion but it was actually very good, no distortion, etc..
I don't know what I can say about this set except Markus definitely brought his A-game for Miami and it was great to have him back here with us. We were eating it up. His set was pretty damn close to perfection with only about 3 tracks that I wasn't feeling. but honestly, this has to be the best set I've ever heard... Which is saying a lot, and I was sober so I was fully aware of everything
Thanks so much for the small group of ta's that made it out and represented that miami loves markus, and special thanks to Markus, Heather & elevation... Also great talking and hanging out with Kaenow & the rest... Thanks for the help with the sign

Now I reaally wish I came down for this! guess I'll have to wait for GDJB this week! Glad everyone had a great time! I need my markus fix! he has yet to disappoint me!

Walked in at 12 midnight to a long and tiresome tribal set from Chicco Secci.. As 1:30 rolled around you were definitely ready for something magic to happen and Markus bought it all the way.. Very intricate sounds taking you through the spectrum of electonica..

unfortunately me and the gf made it to the beach way too late to meet up with anyone at fat tuesdays... but damn what a good show. markus actually had me jumping which a dj hasn't gotten me to do that in quite some time. only TA i recognized and actually came up to me was deon (keep me posted on that party you were telling me about!!) hopefully next time i can officially be introduced to a few more of you.. great, great, GREAT times last night! happy bday markus!

Great set by Markus. Makes me look forward to Armada Night @ WMC that much more.
I got there a little past 2 a.m. I could tell Markus had just blown up the room because he was building it up again playing good tracks but nothing too hard or crazy. Markus steadily built up the energy, dropped Perpsective Space a while later, and the entire room went insane. From that point forward Markus went on an all-out tear. I loved the way he played the last 2 hours or so, playing great hard and softer styles alike. Played most of the tracks I wanted to hear and expected, and many other gems as well. Everything was upbeat, even funky/techy, and beat-oriented trance. No abrupt transitions between harder and softer stuff, did not overly bang-it-out, and everything flowed nicely.
Last night showed me that Markus really understands how to construct a great set. He was clearly feeding off the crowd energy, and helping create it as well. He impressed me a lot last night. I really hope he play 3 hours at WMC. He deserves it, and that way he can take us on another great journey.
