The audio hardware is not necessarily the problem. Not to say it's not an issue, but the acoustics and acoustic set-up of the club should be your main concern.

What ruins a sound system for you lot?

Personally a lack of bass compensated with stupid volumes ruins my experience.

On the other hand, too much bass buring mid and high is also bad, but a far rarer situation.

I hate just hate to hangout at the VIP area.

Most of these twats in there dont even bother to have fun and just sit around gossiping to another and telling each other they look "hawt". I hate it when these girls suddenly become soo pretentious and boring just because they know the owner of the club. Sad thing is these girls are bloody hot and you kinda have to pretend to be interested cause your friend is a friend of the owner of the club.

edit: And for those of you who don't know, he attended Opera Atlanta (formerly 1150) which is one of ATLs superclubs. It's a beyond shitty soundsystem, and I've boycotted it completely. As far as Atlanta goes, Wetbar is where it's at.

I thought there was one in chicago

but yeah, Cielo sounds amazing. this is also a product of the spatial/acoustic design though. Ever notice how different it is when you're on the top of the stairs and when you'e on the bottom?

can't wait for tomorrow night. my girlfriend has never heard it before.
