Review :: Max Graham @ Footwork with Jon Jon

I don't know where to begin.....

I'll start with Jon...
First time hearing him, and was very different to what I'm used to, but really ejoyed his set...He really got ppl going crazy. It was really nice to see everyone ejoying his set so much. I just might have to go see him again!
p.s. Jon, you're absolutely hilarious!

At 1:30 it was so clear that Max was behind the decks! He started off so well that I couldn't believe what I was hearing. His set was absolutely perfect...Love when he is here because he is so fresh and knows exactly how to play for his audience! I don't want to go on forever, but I clearly enjoyed his set, and so wish it wasn't over at 5...

The ppl were fun last night as well...Everyone seemed to have a good time...love Footwork!!!!

p.s. Max, I'm sorry i ruined your surprise but I love you for playing Touch Me In the Morning! - thank you!..although I knew I was gonna get yelled at, at some point of the night....but what else is new lol...

All I have to say right now is, song of the night for me,

Stand by me

So good Jon Jon!! <3

It created a wicked vibe.

Good night. Originally was planning on leaving at 3 but then he dropped Til Ya drop- Roland Klinkenberg & DJ Remy. That song is insane. The way it drops is insane. I think it was around 2:30 he played a remix of who's afraid of detroit which was sick. Overal great night, he was definatly on his A game

P.S. Jon Jon's set reminded me of that Montell Jordan tune "This is How We Do It".

Good times, man, good times. lol

originally i had planned on going to see d ramirez.. but my friends couldnt get in so after wayyy too much time spent on deciding where to go i ditched them all for footwork.

i got in a little after 3am and was surprised that the place was still really packed. it was my first time there and the venue itself is pretty interesting. Max Graham blew me away and I only caught the end of his set. touch me in the morning was a random surprise... laughed at that one.. after all the drama it ended up being a good night

nice seeing the few TAs that I did peter i always have fun with you. thanks for making me come out!

lol Party tuuuuuuuuuuune for sure. We need to find a remix....

In scrolling through my random txt messages last night, I found this one: "SICK. Tristan and I agree. SICK!!! LOL". I think it was at the point when you were pullin' some Martinez Brother-esque mixing action....hahaha....

This tune destroys dance floors.

Jon just when I thought RTB was your best set to date, you prove me wrong. Last night speaks for itself, your choice of tunes and their impact on the dancefloor filled with ppl= NUTS . I love the jon jon sound and I can't wait to see you out next time

Blast from the past...I've been listening to that song on repeat in a set I have from a few years ago.

These reviews are awesome...really wish I could have made it up.

I would never ask you to come to a bad party <3! Always a pleasure i dunno how you made till 5am dead sober i would have been sleeping on the couches by 1 am your a trooper!

As for the music i think WOW is a good way to sum it up, was overly impressed with jon jon's set great track selection really got me moving, loved the 1st few more tribaly tracks.

Max was really good as expected, loved it around 2:45am just banging tracks .... kinda lost me there near the end with a few of the slower more chill tracks i like it hard and dirty but i can understand how max is going for a complete set and is not just traying to bang out tracks.

The Vibe in this place was just unreal i think thas because it's more ppl who acctually like the music and are there to see the Dj's and get bommed and chase tail.

Overall this one of times at Footy ever if that place was like that week in and week out i would never go to another club.

I managed to do a whole night a guv and then the new basement until 830AM completely sober. That didn't stop people from asking me what I was on multiple times throughout the night (I guess I still dance like I'm flying)
