The Protector

Holy shit, I forgot how insanely badass Tony Jaa is.

The Protector is on TV right now.

For those of you not aware, he gets his elephant stolen and gets pissed and breaks faces.

horrible acting; amazing fight sequences.

i really liked this movie. i just watched it again actually a week ago. i liked the skater scene and the ongoing one where the camera kept rolling during the fight.

didn't see it. saw Ong Bak. awesome fight scenes, even if he mixes acrobatic TKD XMA'ish stuff in place of actual muay thai from time to time.

Love Poundin' Sensation

The guy is un-fuckin-real. <3

He can't act, and needs shitloads of rehearsals. Seen ongbak, not impressed ( partly caused by very poor editing ). They claimed no wires/effects were used

You suck

No I don't You just hate me. Take that first bar fight in ong bak for instance. Notice the feet positions of Tony. Then next cut when he throws a kick, notice how the feet position have completely reversed, making that kick originally impossible.

That's quite a pig pile of poo poo when you know they rehearsed the stunt and fight scenes for 4 years, yet it wasn't enough time to figure out the mistakes. Or maybe they tried to cheat and figured out how to make people not notice by using quick editing cuts + different camera angles. Real fighters would eat a dozen Jaas for breakfast.

The guy is a great gymnast, but only an average fighter. It's just that Luc Besson, who's buried deep in his childhood dreams as usual, thought he found the next Bruce Lee and gave him a shot on screen. Fail.

Just curious, how many people do you know that can run on the shoulders of other people?

Thanks, GTFO.

anyone with Tony's body conditioning, and his background in muay thai and TKD will make more than an average fighter by most standards.

Holy shit, that was weird.

I was like, "I wonder what happened to my Protector thread?"

*Refresh*
