I went to the leafs game today

I have never heard so much booing and sarcastic cheering in my life.

we lost 8-0 to florida.

$120 each ticket (x2).

The fans deserve to boo if the team does not meet the expectations... what did you want real cheering to make them feel better?

i was booing and cheering sarcasticly as well.

I was just noting the fact that it was the worst i have ever seen, these are dark times in leafs nation. dark times indeed.

It gets bad when the fans start throwing batteries and beer bottles at the players.... booing is nothing.

I went a week ago for the St Louis game -- so damn boring.

After the first five minutes I turned off the TV and burned my leaf hat....now I gotta go get the tattoo removed.

I'm pretty happy about the loss... The Leafs should be playing for a better position in the draft lottery, not points. Now, if they could only move some of their shitty, over-paid players... fuckin' no trade clauses!

Ill be sad when Sundin leaves..I bet he leaves after this season.

PS. Hope you good good seats for 120/tix. I remember long ago my father paid 60+ per ticket for an Islander game AA(Glass row). I think pre gordon fisherman mascot

from what I've seen they need rid of

Raycroft. he's shit. He gives more rebounds than a guy with no hands
McCabe. Wayyyyyyyyyyy too expensive
Sundin. legendary but unless he signs on much lower terms he's not as worth it.
Wellwood, Devereaux, Wozniewski - all not good enough
Jason Blake - he's quick but he's not got enough end product.

I agree with all but Wellwood and Wozniewski... these two are still young and developing... they'll never be marquis players but they will be good enough to be second liners.

They also need to get rid of Kubina, Bell, Tucker, Petty (President of MLSE) and Tannenbaum (Chairman of MLSE).

i took the picture to show how close i was to the very back wall of the upper levels.

picture looks worse than it actually was...but they were pretty shitty seats.

I'd keep tucker, he's got a spirit that is needed, esp if they get rid of Bell (who hasn't really had much chance yet with his ban/injuries)

I dunno what would fix them though, they're way too erratic, they don't play clever hockey, give away too many penalties and there just has to be something wrong, the powerplay is awful.

petty and tannenbaum arn't going anywhere so there's nothing we can do.

all we can hope for is they stay out of the next GMs business. What they did to fergie is a joke in the NHL, no GM ever has to jump through hoops like he did. i almost feel bad for him...but he'll do fine elsewhere.

Get rid of sundin*, blake, wellwood, tucker, bell, kubina, and rebuild this lost cause AFTER we bomb this year. then, in 3 - 4 years time we'll have a pretty decent hockey team again.

(* = trade before the deadline, maybe as a rental.)

I would trade tucker for a bag of used sponge pucks that a dog pissed on.

There should not be a single player on the team that is safe from being traded.

McCabe
Gill
Antropov aka big stupid giant
Blake
Stajan
Bell
Kaberle
Raycroft
Pornikorovsku (or how ever you spell his name....I just call him Porno)

antropov is having a great season though
