16 Bit Lolita's at 161 - Friday 9th Feb
for all of those who appreciate the wonder that is Ariaan behind the decks with lush prog and groovy house sounds, yet dont wish to brave the elements with Kanye West fans or whatever other rap rubbish is likely to attend Good Vibrations, be aware that 16 Bit Lolita's are playing a side-show this Friday night at 161.

he smashed down some absolute big fukn progressive house.... so many big tunes and new 16 bit lolita material...
great fun
was a good night! friendly guy too. verrry good tunes! wasnt expecting to hear 'park it in the shade' but that was cool, even it was some crazy edit.

I wasn't impressed, especially in the first half. Not much crowd buzz. 2nd half got better but was too put off and left!
i heard it was shit, and so was there set at good vibes, doesnt suprise me really.
LOL.
those who championing 16b lolitas reckon Hernan was crap.

you know good and proper that i need serious help..
my shit mood probably made me think the first half sucked, dunno, still.. 2nd half was ace
i had a corker of a night
he played alot of fun progressive tunes which was nice to hear out for a change. Though i don't think anyone had more fun then soups, hilarious to watch. i think his enthusiasm started to scare ariaan towards end of the night lol.
As for the Hernan/16bl duality well its not hard to see how people can be so easily split of their opinions on the two. As both DJs create completely different effects on the dance floor. Hernan was more of a carefully crafted progressive dark room set which was seriously addictive and had me by the balls, 16bl was fun and vibrant though his mixing and set structure was nowhere near the caliber of hernan, sometimes i thought ariian didn't know the difference between his EFX and low gain knob. However i enjoyed both sets for different reasons. guessing peeps that didnt like either of the two djs were going in with false expectations of what the artist was actually going to play
