| Steve Porters PH Recordings launches in 2008 with the aim of setting a new standard of quality for dance music. PH will focus on introducing new artists from Steves Boston (USA) crew and other emerging global acts and of course will be an outlet for Steves own productions. Throughout the year the label will be servicing a rigorous schedule of single releases, compilations and artist albums. As Steve Porter says, Our goal is to focus on putting out quality product while keeping the music fresh and exciting. PH Recordings will also aim to spotlight the American scene of which Steve and his counterparts such as Eli Wilkie, Island 9, Chris Micali, Emjae are working to showcase. The first release will be one Steve Porters own highly acclaimed productions Pixy Stixx - and it features remixes from the likes of Chris Fortier, Island 9, Hoska and many others. For a sneak preview you can check some of the mixes here: http://www.myspace.com/phrecordings. PH Recordings will also focus on label nights, residencies and parties of which will kick-off with the first PH label party in Miami during the Winter Music Conference. The real question is will it be as terrible as everything else he's done in the last 3 years?

Whoo, more labels.
Also, I wonder if he'll open the Porterhouse Label party at WMC the same way he's opened the Porterhouse party at WMC that past few years.
Will Smith, "Miami" never gets old.
so that's the new trend?
1. open new label
2. release shit
3. hate
4. open new label
5. rinse and repeat

Give the poor guy a break, he needs to hunt down like 300 tracks every time he makes a mix. That requires a lot of labels!
