snow day?

after the past week has had 2 'unofficial' snow days at my work, i think tomorrow i'll finally not go in. i feel so dangerous...though i think this time it's warranted.

thats a lot of snow

School canceled today for me. Woke up to about 2 feet of fresh snow, lool. All the neighbours' cars are completely snowed in, ha!

After a 2.5 hour drive each way to and from work yesterday and Friday, I decided not to bother today. I'm still in my PJs, working from my home office... fuckin' sweet!

Downtown Chicago barely got 3", northern Cook County received more. Roads were cleared well.

Now if you are not a Chicagoan - but a suburbonite up to the north - then you did get more snow. Worst was across central/souther Wisco where upto 16" fell.

Meh i havent taken a snow day off yet, and we have had 2 snow storms of 40+cm of snow here this year.... in fact, Ottawa topped last years total accumulation of snow (2006-2007 winter) at the end of december... 40 cm is 1.3 ft for our non metric friends. the one storm we had end of november was over 45 cm, or 18 inches.... in one day.

record in ottawa was something stupid like 75 cm in one day... (30")

toronto, and south western ontario for the most part, are a bunch of snow wusses......
