Collaborative fictive dream

Making the "limits of imagination" thread gave me an idea. I thought we could all build up the details of a fictional scene, one at a time. Here's how it works.

I'll start off with something really basic, then ask a question about the scene for the next person to answer. Once the person answers that question, they ask a new question for someone else to answer. And it goes like this:

"There was a crab walking along a beach. What color was the crab?"

"Blue. How big was the crab?"

"About six inches wide."

...and so on...

Now for the real thing.

A man pulled to a stop in a '68 Mustang at a four-way intersection in the middle of the desert. How old was he?

He's approximately 65 years of age. Describe his hair to me.

he had a nasty comb-over, hanging off his head in the wind. what kind of dress was he wearing?

She was trying to shave her legs as they drove, which was annoying the old man. Why was she in the car with him?

The guy was drunk and ran over the girls grandma first by going forward and then by back because they both were high as fuck and were enjoying going over the grandma's body thinking it was a funny speed bump.What was the girl scratching furiously south of the border?

As the old man stopped his car, what did he see approaching far off on the horizon?

The old man saw an angel hurriedly approaching his location from far away. And another from above him. And now to his side. Perhaps they were not angels, but butterflies. Perhaps they weren't even there. They appeared as spots in his peripheral. His mouth became noticeably dry - his breathing increased as he realized this, a sensation that would only be for his reflective pejorative. He reached into the cooler in the back seat.

What did he pull out?

a large baboon. Why was there a large baboon in the glove compartment?

Is this a fictional SCENE (as OP stated) or a fictional STORY? I think we're getting confused.

Mostly a scene, but I think it's fun to add back-story elements.

yeah it would be more useful to do a collective scene - ie flesh out all the detail


for instance maybe someone on here knows a lot about the geological formations of this desert, maybe someone can talk a lot about different fibers of clothing in the scene
