has anyone ever heard of this guy??

Some amazing trance tracks there, i cant find any tracklist or anything

Hi there, I know james brolly, he is actually my best buddy, we met at University in 1991 where we dj'ed a night together for three years called burst, there is a whole library's worth of mix tapes out there by him. He is a unique talent with a definate style that i've never heard anyone come close to......

It was an absolute pleasure to see someone pick up on this after all these years!! so thanks for making my day.

God, that's a great mix. There are some killer tunes on it (especially 4th track on A side). Unfortunately I only recognized these two:
Side A track 6: L.S.G. - Hearts
Side B track 4: Velocity - Lust (Rabbit In The Moon Remix)

I am sitting with the legend himself James brolly and we are trying to figure out the tracklistings of the tape...

1) Spacebuggy - Spacebuggy - Out On A Limb (we think! can't find an mp3 to confirm)
2) lUXOR - bIG bANG
3) bABY dOC AND THE DENTIST - cATALAN dAWN - pROLEKULT
4) sORRY Unknown track !!! It was a long time ago!
5) same again sorry
6) LSG - Hearts

B Side
1)Mega Lo Mania - The Finest - No Respect records
2) jens lissat-you can't escape (no respect)
3) Aurora Borealis - The Milky Way - F Comunications
4) We think this is something on platypus or rising high, possibly something to do with Union Jack - two full moons and a trout (annoying as we were both playing this at the time)
5)Unknown again
6)Equinox - German White Label

That's the best we can do for now, it's been fun!

That's right, version used in this mix is Spacebuggy (A1 Mix) and that version on youtube is Spacebuggy (A2 Mix).

And again, I'm pretty sure that the 4th track on side B is pitched up version of Velocity - Lust (Rabbit In The Moon Remix).

MYSELF AND JAMES HAVE BEEN inspired by this little thread and actually dug out alot of the old tapes when I was over to visit him and have committed them to mp3 for the first time. I will be organising them into some order and putting them up on the web, this will take time though as we both have boring careers to contend with too.

Will obviously let you know as soon as the first few go up.

cassette to cd

I'm sitting recording from cassette onto my laptop a tape that is 16 years old .. hahaha thanks for staring this thread! The bandwidth on my website resets tomorrow 1st april so you will be able to download the sets for keeps, so far there are 4 james brolly sets and one joint mix done while we were still djing at uni together.
I only have limited bandwidth so get in there tomorrow if you can otherwise you'll be waiting till may....

if i have a productive night i'll get some others up too.
