What is that one track you think of when...

This is a thread to list that one track that everyone's got that they've got some kind of special emotional attachment to. Whether it be memories of a past love, a troubled time, or the best time of your life, music is one of those rare things that can almost be therapy at the right time. It's more than just the means of getting you on the dancefloor, but a means of finding something to relate to during a moment in your life.

So what, if any, are the tracks that you still get a rush of memories from, that puts a smile on your face, or that you know you'll be listening to for the rest of your life because of the past?

Personally the one I'm speaking of now is Kings of Tomorrow - Finally, that track got me through some of the ahrdest moments in my life.

Fuck yes. I'll never forget that moment. He had been playing a long segment of tribal/tech house, and then all of it a sudden he played that and it was a break in the clowds.

Other tracks of note:

Layo & Bushwacka - Sly (Steve Lawler @ System Soundbar 2004)
Lola's Theme (Danny Tenaglia @ Boa 2004)
Dusty Kid - Kore (Richie Hawtin DEMF 2007)
Moby - Raining Down (Steve Angello Remix), DJ Chus - That Feeling (D-Formation Takes Over Remix) (various Comfort Zone trips 2005)
Adagio For Strings (Tiesto Remix) (Tiesto @ The Docks 2003)
Lostep - Burma (Sasha Re-Edit) (Sasha @ The Guv 2004)
Chab - My Memory (Danny Tenaglia @ The Docks 2004)
Shakedown - At Night (some sort of tribal remix), D-Formation - The Third Dimension (Simon & Shaker Remix), John Tejada - Sweat (all Boa - fuck I miss that place!)
Simpler (Sundance 2006, Steve Lawler sunset set)
Peter Bailey - Mia Casa (Summer 2006 )
Filthy Rich - Dirty Freak (Sasha & Lawler on the Skybar)
+many more

(ps great thread. Listening to all these songs again brought me down memory lane)

Sasha - Park it in the Shade (Sasha in Budapest Dec. 2007)
Matthew Dekay - Timeless (Digifruitella dub) (Dekay in Hungary Mar. 2007)

LOVE this track. One of my favourite all time videos on youtube, ger!

That video alone made me want to check out his sunrise set in 07 and I didn't regret it for a second.

I am severely attached to Goodwill/Tommy Trash - It's a Swede Thing (one of the few songs I remember from his 07 Sunrise Set). Every time I hear it I get goosebumps and am sent back through time to that morning. Can't wait for this year!!

KoT - Finally is a good choice, particullarly the KoT vs. Chris Lake - Finally Changes

Lola's Theme is also a great choice that brings back memories.

The alltime fave for me is Havana Funk - Bakiri Ban (Major Boys Remix) so many great memories!

Yes, I remember this moment. And walking out in the middle of a crowded chinatown at like 2pm, glad as hell I brought my sunglasses, and mesmorized at how the rest of the world was going about it's business the following day and my previous one hadn't ended yet.

cuz its fresh in my memory still....

Oxia - Domino (Carl Cox @ Guv 11 Year)

Middle of the dancefloor, straight in front of the dj booth, carl's big arms raised in the air, the "freezing fog" blowing in my face, surrounded by some of my closest friends.....

....i get chills thinking about that moment still....

and

Sarah MacLauchlan - World on Fire (junkie XL mix) - (paul oakenfold... November 2004 @ Guvy-).... pure euphoria....
