Contact both clubs through website. They will have special e-mail to handle that request. Also the earlier the better for booking such a request.

you could probably hire the DJ to play at your house for less than what Cameo or Mansion will charge you for a crappy table with crappy booze. Table service = lame-O @ WMC
Why not mix in with the crowd and enjoy what live DJs at WMC are really about?
*shakes head* i'll never understand the pretence involved with going to a show...or why people will waste THOUSANDS of dollars on the *ILLUSION* Of being special at an event...

For that amount you can get them to play every weekend for a month at your house & have enough liquor to last all month long..

Set Miami last year for Cedric and Deep Dish....4k for 3 bottles for 5 of us.

Not bad as the table was right next to the dj booth and everyone in the club is ok with people dancing on the table and chairs.

I have heard that the tables next to the DJ booth at the roof of Space are up to 7k for 3 people.

if you really want it, call the clubs in early March.

table prices are ridiculous during the conference....last year for FMIF it was $3,000 for 8 people downstairs. $2,400 upstairs....for 6 people it was around $2,400 downstairs and $1,800 upstairs.

At Mansion for S&D, we had a table reserved but they jacked the price upwards twice on us....originally it was just a 3 bottle minimum for 8 people + you had to buy tickets at a discount price of $30 (cover was $50). we thought that was fair....however, 2 days before the conference our VIP host said the new pricing was again something like $2,500 for 6 or 8 people. we said screw that. what worked out good was when we got to Mansion, they still had several open tables upstairs....i found a waitress asked if we could get one and we did...just had to pay for the bottles and nothing else so we ended up getting a huge table/sofa with about 10 people there and we just paid normal costs for 2 bottles. we may attempt that route again this time....

Hey guys got the update from Mansion its not that badddd it could be bs but its written in public there is no way they can screw you so for 6 people its 1500 dollars includes 6 tickets anddd this is the crazy part its not bottles you can order up to 1500 dollars worth of bar tab that sounds nutz because some people in your group might want Patron some vodka and some beer this is the best system... Let me get your feedback you guys have way more experience its my first time but thats exactly what it said on want tickets so if they even try to get smart I will call AMEX and regulate their sorry asses...

what do you mean its writen in public? they gave me a similar quote last year and like i said they raised the price twice by the time the actual conference started.

I've gotten bottle service every year at BED that is probably the only club it is worth it @ WMC. We had 3 beds and 6 bottles last year total was only $2300. Not to bad we had like 16 people.

Posted by Cool1g on Feb-08-2008 18:13:

Tommy - i see now what you are talking about with the tables being sold on Wantickets. in that case, i would trust the pricing. last year, tables were all handled by VIP hosts...none were sold in that manner.

that pricing isn't that bad for the conference....

note the $1500 does not include tax/tip. not sure if you'll have to pay tax but tip is around 18-20% automatic, so and a minumum of $300 to that cost. plus, the wantickets fee is $140, so realistically the table cost is $1,940 minimum for 6 people.

yea true I am just saying this way if people in your group want all sorts of drinks is more fair I have friends that hate vodka so a table sounds dumb to them now they can order apple juice if they like loll so yea it comes out to 1940 around but keep in mind that includes 6 tix so take 6 times 40 of this and lets say its 6 guys at the door prob another 100 tip if you wanna get in fast so I figuer 340 of the 1940.. I just read these horror stories 5k 7k 1800 sounds pretty good and if I go there with my ticket in hand what are they going say we raised the prices screw your ticket??? I doubt that andddd that 1500 ticket will be 2500 by the week before wmc 100 percent...

am i the only one doing math here and figuring out that a simple night out with your 4 friends costs more than AN ENTIRE VACATION?? For what these tables cost I could tour all of Europe, Australia, and Japan...
You people really put the du in dumb if you're actually paying a club upwards of 3k for a bottle of shitty vodka and a cheap wooden table.
Guess it just goes with the territory, and you're entitled to experience WMC/DJs as you wish, but I can't help but think you're all so caught up in having a table and bottles of Grey Goose or Patron that you completely miss the point of why this is all so much fun to begin with---MUSIC!
...for real, the mark-up on Patron is insane for what it costs to produce...why not go to Mexico and visit the village that makes it instead of paying Mansion to serve it to you?
*ending of rant--HERE*

$1500 for 6 people is still highway robbery no matter how you look at it....i'll never be able to justify spending that much for a NIGHT out. and based on ALL of the posts, i just felt it was appropriate to express MY OPINION on the silly behavior people display in the name of "partying VIP." you can waste your money however you see fit, it just seems super silly---just like this conversation and the whole idea of being a "VIP" at a special little table with special little drinks

obviously you are entitled to your opinion, but you did directly attack the posters in this thread when you said 'you put the du in dumb'.

if you have 1 drink an hour at Mansion, you are probably looking at around $100 in drink/tip costs. add the $50 ticket and you are at $150. $300 all inclusive isn't that much more and you get your own area to hang out it... i remember in college when if I spent $20 on drinks i was probably going to puke later that nite. nowadays, i can spend more on that for a single vodka-redbull in Ibiza.

some people make enough $ that $3K in one night to them is like $30 to you.....if they/we/I are fine with spending that why get so worked up about it? if you make $25K a year, of course spending $300 on a table is going to seem crazy b/c its not fiscally prudent in your situation. you make $500,000 a year you won't even notice it.

eh..wouldn't go as far as to say i'm "worked up over it" b/c money is just that...money. what you choose to spend your money on is up to you in this great nation of ours. didn't mean for it to seem like a direct attack on the post---the du in dumb comment is a blanket statement to anyone who flat our overpays for anything in this world. i hardly get worked up over anything, especially something as silly as table service.
BUT i will say this, to all who partake in that "VIP" treatment, don't be douchebags and ruin the night for others. All to often the pretentious drunkards throwing glasses and acting like turds ruin a good night at a club. I know each and every one of us has experienced our fair share of those nutbags.
I may be opinionated, but its just that..my opinions. Never meant to be taken personally by anyone, so just let it slide, enjoy your drinks, and lets party!
Hell I might even shell out the $50 on Patron shots to make a few new friends...its all in the spirit of the music and having fun!

a douchebag is a douchebag inside or outside the VIP section LOL. but there does seem to be more inside unfortunately. what i do hate is those that have an unearned sense of entitlement which I think is what you are getting at.

Posted by ArminD1981 on Feb-09-2008 06:12:

Everytime I get a table its just to be comfortable, sometimes when the clubs get too crowded i cant really enjoy myself, u have people pushing and stepping on u toes, it gets annoying

Everytime Tiesto, PVD and Armin come to NYC i either get a table or buy a VIP ticket....

its all about comfort I dont get tables on the VIP to be seen, thats dumb

Agreed. I've gotten bottles at BED the last two years and it's only been about $150 per person. Last year we went to the Above and Beyond show and it was the best night of the trip. Plus that place is so tiny that you really need a table (bed) to have any room for comfort and dance.

I looked into bottles at Pawn Shop last year and costs were pretty comparable to BED. Everywhere else bottles were at least $250 per person. If anybody knows of any other venues where bottles are $200 - $300 a pop please advise.

prices are out for Space/Terris. IF you want to see Sander K it is 250 a person w/ 5 people.

Dude these kind of pricing is dirt cheap compared to what it could be people need to calculate it right either you pay up front and have full comfort and your drinks there or you will probably pay more and get bumped into and have a horrible time 150-300 a person is a super deal.
