dancing styles
i suppose there is a very only way to dance to a genre from chill out to speedcore. let us see how it is done
shuffle
jumpstyle
electro
haha i have never seen jumpstyle before, it looks like hardcore country music dancing
WTF? Jumpstyle? Wiki says its a sub genre of D'n'B... sure sounds like d'n'b to me! P.S. that electro song isn't bad.
[edit] hmm confusing it with jump up
jump style looks like german slap dancing
edit and most of those arent the shuffle, its the running man and the hardstyle stomp
tecktonik (the electro one you posted)
is that how it's called? tektonik style?
my bad.
although mine rocks more than gay axwell house
I would trade nearly anything to be able to melbourne shuffle
I like the album versionl of that Yelle song better, and those axwell girls are really hot
Shuffling is easy when you're wearing socks and have a rather slippery surface.
Thats why I wait until its late and the dancefloor gets wet before i start shuffling. If its dry, you have to hop your way thru which can be very tiring.
I've seen this electro dance shit in the club before..looks very gay INDEED. Usually its those youngins that are between 18-22 that do this shit.
Thing is its hard to dance to a house beat cause its slow so for me i just 2 step.
i'm not much of a dancer, but that shuffle looks kinda cool. the music was pretty bad though.
the other 2 styles looked pretty hilarious (and stupid) to me.
Shuffling is freakin awesome and fun to do. It is easy with a slippery floor but because you are actually doing two hops (for the running man) and a heel/toe for the shuffle it can be done on a sort of sticky floor.
It only takes about a week to get the running man down good. Just go at it for a few hours and you will be able to do it in no time.
it's all about the hardcore moonwalking in shuffle

Oh snap, YouTube has taken this amazing video down. Would fit perfectly in this thread.

And at the end of the dj performance, everyone claps. |

Shuffle is fucking rubbish imo. Not dancing, more like a statement. "I'M A RAVER!"
I much rather see people just enjoying themselves and just moving/grooving than "trying too hard."
I mean that guy can't dance for shit, but it looks like he's enjoying the music and getting into it instead of concentrating on how he looks...
And that bum has more groove than any of those shufflers will ever have.
Grandma has moves
rofl
shuffle is pretty dope
