Yeah you know?

It's music that will only fit inside larger rooms.

Gotta have room so you can reach for the fucking lasers!

This is a good point - head space is an absolute must, floors can be no lower than 10 feeet so as to accomodate even the tallest of ravers.

Vaulted ceilings, however, are preferred.

I'm not sure what people mean by the term. Maybe something like "music that has a hook that gets everyone dancing." Or maybe just "music with a really loud and brash main synth."

I see songs like that have like big room mashup sometimes or songs described as too big room for someones tastes.

I was thinking its either has highs that are really bright and in a small room it might be screaming in your ears a little too much.
Or it is songs with tons of low end that shakes even the biggest of rooms.

It's just crowd friendly party music isn't it?

Evol Waves - Mimi (Markus Schulz Big Room Reconstruction)

Markus Schulz in general...just looking at his global DJ broadcasts. He uses the term big room reconstruction a lot.

"Big room track" = easily accessible, danceable track with big buildups and riffs, or any other element that's catchy, that could captivate a big mainstream-oriented crowd instantly.

Posted by shaw on Feb-11-2008 18:47:

it's all in the build-ups. they must include 1-4 sustained, offensively loud tones and blaring fills that can only be non-lethal in a large enough space, and also must last for a span of time unendurable for anyone lacking smoke, lazarz, dancing, and conversation as readily available diversions.
