Could someone help me out with a couple of what they consider to be the best trance mixed albums of say the past 6-12 months. Were there any? Was the Gareth Emery podcast album on Baroque any good?

Alternatively anything on the horizon that is worth looking out for?

Gatecrasher : Moscow mixed by Christopher Lawrence

is pretty sweet

its mostly CLs techy psy sounding trance stuff

gareth emery is a sell out and doesn't really do trance anymore.

Nichols stuff is as good as anyone's get when it comes mad trance tunes.

Sander Van Doorn sets are fucking crazy. Check out some of his identity stuff.

Also JOOF's sets are always insane

**Don't under estimate the power of PKC's uplifters if you're feelin emo. The guy owns Tassie trance (apparently tassie is that funny looking island beneath the mainland that's shaped like a c**t* )

Mike's AH.FM xmas mix from last year is the most ridiculously good thing ive heard in years. The triple trance tunage overlays made me pull over on the way to the beach listin to it first time round. My steering wheel got a good battering too during the "what da f*K" moments.

Honestly, trance has greatly declined over the past couple of years. It all sounds the same now. I don't remember the last time I attended a trance only event.


On Saturday I will be making my exception for J00F!
